Office on Violence Against Women 

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) was founded in 1995 by Attorney General of the United States Janet Reno and First Lady of the United States Hillary Rodham Clinton. The Violence Against Women Office is a part of the United States Department of Justice that deals with violence against women, specifically implementing "the mandates of the Violence Against Women Act and subsequent legislation"[1].
